Nevada Barr

My first selection is Nevada Barr. My library has most of the Anna Pigeon series but unfortunately the first book was checked out so I am starting in the middle. I will keep you updated on my thoughts. Thanks Terry!

I have read Janet Evanovich (Stephanie Plum), Walter Mosley (Easy Rawlings), James Lee Burke (Dave Robicheaux), and some Lee Child (Reacher). James Lee Burke is a top level, own the series, must reread, all time favorite, author. I need to develop some criteria for rating series. While I ponder that,Thanks, and send me your lists.

Cause for Celebration

After years of searching for copy of Jimmy the Kid I finally received one in the mail today. My Dortmunder collection is complete. I know what I am up to tonight.

The Journey Begins

I am going to start off with some of my favorite comedy series. I often read to be amused.
These are my favorites:

And a couple non mystery classics:

Greetings

I come from a family of readers. At a recent gathering we were lamenting the constant need to find new series to read. This is an attempt to fill the need to read. Since we are a mysterious bunch the focus will be on mysteries but we are also open minded so there are no restrictions.
I plan to create an ever growing list and add commentary as I see fit. So start preparing your lists. There are worlds yet undiscovered.
